Boundary Trap Update From Earthenware to PVC
An existing customer with previous drain problems in Asquith called us with new drain blockage concerns. We attended and performed a jet blast, camera inspection and located the boundary shaft. As seen in the photos we found a very serious root blockage and collapsed pipe in the boundary shaft of the plumbing drain line. We excavated down approximately 1.4 metres deep to the base of the boundary shaft where it connects to the sewer main. We then removed the old sewer drain pipe configuration and replaced it with new PVC plumbing drain pipe including a new overflow gully to ensure that sewage will overflow outside the house in the event another blockage occurs. We backfilled the hole with blue metal and compacted soil and removed all the old earthenware drain pipe.
